JUDE COLE-HILL

Jude has a long career of professional experience in the world of entertainment. She has also specialised extensively in the care and nurturing of young people.

She can be seen very regularly in Yorkshire TV’s EMMERDALE. Her first role in professional theatre came at the age of just 11 and this progressed into many television appearances in BBC TV’s Peaky Blinders, The Royal Today, Bodies, Mobile, No Angels, and many more.

Jude has sung in many of the major concert venues all across the United Kingdom and at The Royal Albert Hall in London in many concerts alongside stars of the Broadway and West End stages, and she has featured on CD recordings.

She has also more recently concentrated on supporting and encouraging child development. She has owned and managed her own Leeds Pre-School, gaining recognition by official bodies for the outstanding results achieved and is currently undertaking Counsellor training.

So it’s the combination of these wide-ranging sets of skills that Jude brings as one of the Owner/Principals to Razzamataz Theatre School Leeds. “At Razzamataz Leeds we inspire and enrich young people through the performing arts and introduce them to new opportunities in a happy, safe and secure environment,” she says.

PHIL COLE

Phil studied and entered the entertainment profession as an actor/singer over thirty years ago.  Many of our Leeds students and their families saw him in performance at Leeds Playhouse, where he played Dorothy’s UNCLE HENRY and the Oz PALACE GUARD in the wonderful musical “THE WIZARD OF OZ.” He has also starred in many other major musicals and plays:  Disney’s Beauty & The Beast, Fame, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oklahoma, South Pacific, Jekyll and Hyde, Kiss Me Kate, White Christmas, and many more in London’s West End, throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

Phil also can be heard as the voice in television and online commercials – you could be watching a horse – or even a spoon – but it’s Phil’s voice you will hear!

He has also starred alongside top Broadway and other West End Stars in many large-scale Musical Concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall and in major concert venues right across the UK, as well as many appearances on television and radio. He has released 4 CD recordings.

Phil is very passionate about improving young people’s self-esteem and confidence via the performing arts. The experience and knowledge gained in his performing career are invaluable in his position as one of the Owner/Principals of Razzamataz Theatre School Leeds and he spends time wherever possible at the School.

He is now associated with a company actively involved in areas of providing exciting travel opportunities for children who are experiencing physiological challenges.

His friends and colleagues in the entertainment industry are very keen to support the school, some of whom visit Razz Leeds for workshops and Easter/Summer Schools.

When enjoying leisure time, Phil enjoys the cinema, listening to a wide range of music, watching his ever-struggling football team, and – with Jude – walking their dog, Frank – aka “Razz Frank”
